Laser Vaginal Therapy
We often focus on the age-related changes that happen with our faces, breasts, and abdomens, but women are less apt to discuss vaginal concerns. The good news is, women are finally starting to talk about their concerns and take action toward restoring their self-confidence and feeling like their youthful, sexy selves. Dr. Tianna Tsitsis and the team at RejuvenationMD® in Bellingham and Burlington are thrilled to offer women two exciting new vaginal resurfacing treatments that can provide beautiful, life-changing outcomes without any surgery. Say hello to diVa® and diVaTyte®.
What is diVa?
3-5 minute treatment sessions. No downtime. Noticeable results you’ll love.
diVa is a vaginal resurfacing treatment that is designed to address a woman’s most intimate challenges. This procedure uses revolutionary dual wavelength Hybrid Fractional Laser (HFL) technology, which can be customized by the physicians at RejuvenationMD to address each woman’s unique concerns.
Question: How does diVa work?
diVa uses HFL technology to deeply resurface the underlying layers of the vaginal wall. During your treatment, the diVa hand piece is inserted into the vaginal canal. As the hand piece is removed, precision laser energy is emitted, creating tiny microchannels in the vaginal tissue and stimulating your body’s healing response. This process causes your body to create new, healthy tissue, in-turn improving many common vaginal concerns.
Question: Is diVa right for me?
diVa is a laser vaginal therapy that can be customized to meet your specific needs. This makes diVa a great option for just about any woman experiencing vaginal issues, from mothers who have undergone multiple pregnancies, to women with menopause.
Question: How long does a diVa treatment take?
Your physician can treat the full length of the vaginal canal in just 3-5 minutes.
Question: How many diVa treatments are recommended for the best results?
Each woman will have her diVa treatment personalized for her unique situation. Depending on your goals and current condition, your physician at RejuvenationMD may recommend up to three individual diVa treatment sessions at one month intervals. To maintain your results, they recommend following up with 1-2 diVa treatments per year.
Question: Is there a recovery period associated with diVa?
The majority of our patients will not need to take any time away from their normal routine following their diVa treatment. Because no anesthesia is used and we perform this procedure in-office, many women are able to return to work the same day of their diVa treatment.
Question: When can I resume sex after diVa?
RejuvenationMD recommends avoiding sexual intercourse for 48 hours after your diVa treatment.
What is diVaTyte?
Rvitalize vaginal skin without surgery.
Like diVa, diVaTyte is able to provide women with incredible results without the need for surgery. diVaTyte utilizes infrared light energy (the same technology used for SkinTyte II™) to initiate your body's remodeling and healing response, helping to firm the external labia of the vagina.
Over time, a woman can experience skin laxity or looseness of the labia due to age and/or childbirth. Others may have struggled with excess labial skin throughout their lifetime. Issues like these not only impact a woman’s self-confidence, but they may also lead to discomfort in certain clothing or while exercising.
diVaTyte can help create a younger, well-balanced appearance of the labia with just three to five 10-minute treatments at RejuvenationMD.
*Patients' Experience, Individual Results May Vary.
Question: How does diVaTyte work?
diVaTyte utilizes infrared light to heat the underlying layers of skin in order to stimulate collagen and elastin production. As your body produces more of these essential substances, you will notice a more youthful appearance of the treated area.
Question: How long does a diVaTyte treatment take?
The physicians at RejuvenationMD perform diVaTyte in both the Bellingham or Burlington offices. A typical diVaTyte treatment session lasts only about 10-20 minutes depending on your unique circumstances.
Question: Is there a recovery period following diVaTyte?
Most women are able to resume normal activities (including sex) or return to work shortly after their diVaTyte treatment. You may notice some mild redness or slight swelling, but this typically fades over a few hours.
Question: How many diVaTyte treatments will I need?
A typical diVaTyte treatment plan consists of about 3-5 individual treatment sessions at 2-3 week intervals. Your physician at RejuvenationMD will recommend a program based on your unique goals and condition.
