Topical treatments and oral therapy can’t always do the job. Laser therapy can.
Nail fungus is a common condition that begins as a white or yellow spot under the tip of your fingernail or toenail. As the fungal infection goes deeper, nail fungus may cause your nail to discolor, thicken and crumble at the edge. It can affect several nails. Factors that contribute to becoming infected include poor personal hygiene, walking barefoot in public places, not drying off after baths or exercise and having a weakened immune system.

What does it treat?
This procedure treats nail fungus due to an infection of dermatophytes. The affected nail is thick, yellow or brown, and can be foul smelling. It can be brittle, crumbly or ragged and distorted in shape.
What are the results I can expect?
The results are seen in three to six months, depending on how long it takes your nails to grow out. As new nail grows you will see the results. We recommend a series of treatments, but treatment will differ depending on the severity of the infection.
How does it work?
Our Sciton Laser significantly improves nail fungus better than any topical treatment and it’s safer than any oral medication. The laser heats and kills the fungus over a series of treatments.
Who is a good candidate for this procedure?
Anyone who suffers from nail fungus. Nail fungus can affect fingernails, but it’s more common in toenails.
Does it hurt?
The nails will feel warm but as soon as they get hot, we stop the treatment.
What is the procedure time?
The appointment requires less than 30 minutes.
