Microcurrent Facial

Microcurrent is one of the hottest innovations in the anti-aging industry and is used for facial contouring, toning and firming of aging skin.

Microcurrent is a low-level current that mimics the body’s natural current and can provide both instant and cumulative results. Because microcurrent works sub-sensory, the treatment is soothing, and most clients feel quite relaxed during their procedure.

Procedure highlights:

-Improved muscle tone in face and neck as well as causing lifting of jowls and eyebrows

-Diminished appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and abnormal pigmentation

-Improved circulation leading to smoother, firmer, hydrated and revitalized skin

Microcurrent is a safe and effective technology for clients who wish to attain and maintain a healthier, younger looking appearance. Specifically, a low voltage current is passed through the skin to create a lifting effect. Clinical studies have shown that after twenty days of treatment collagen production increases by 14%, elastin increases by 48%, and amino acids and adenosine triphosphate (ATP) which accelerates cell repair and promotes healthier cell production. The results can be so dramatic that microcurrent treatments are often referred to as the “Non-surgical Facial-lift.”

A 1-hour Microcurrent Facial consist of a soothing facial cleanse, followed by a manual exfoliation to rid your skin’s surface of the dirt and grime that has accumulated over the years.  Next, a minimum of 30 mins of microcurrent is performed and then a mask, designed for your skin type, is applied with our high intensity Lightwave LED therapy to complement the overall treatment.

Improvement can be seen in muscle tone, resulting in jowl lift, eyebrow raise, fine line and wrinkle reduction while circulation and collagen is stimulated, and lymphatic drainage is encouraged. Each time a treatment is performed, the new contour maintains its position better and longer. Typically, clients will notice a 5 to 7 year reduction in facial aging.
